Who?

1. Holders of a concession authorized to render international long distance services.

2. Holders of concessions of telecommunications services.

3. Authorized parties and, when applicable, licensees who trade on mobile services under the figure of virtual mobile operator.


When or in what cases?

1. Upon obtaining the authorization by the Federal Telecommunications Institute to formalize an international interconnection agreement or, when applicable, after 15 business days from the filing of an international interconnection agreement for authorization by the Federal Telecommunications Institute without response.

2. Provided the circumstances stated above, within 5 business days from the formalization of the agreement.

3. For interconnection agreement; access and shared use of passive infrastructure agreement; wholesale roaming visitor service agreement or service resale and trading agreement, by the virtual mobile operator within 30 business days from its execution.

The international interconnection agreement shall be filed for its registration in the Telecommunications Registry within 5 business days from its formalization, in terms of Rule 8, second paragraph, of the International Telecommunications Rules.
