When or in what cases?

When they desire that their broadcasted signals be retransmitted, they shall notify the Federal Telecommunications Institute the media and technical characteristics with which they deem that they are available.

Determination about the availability of broadcasted signals.

To this respect, the Institute will publish the listing or update of broadcasted signals in the Federal Official Gazette, with which the obligation of the corresponding restricted television concessionaires will be enforceable.

In case the maximum response term has concluded and Federal Telecommunications Institute has not issued any decision, opinion or notice related to the filed request, the decision shall be understood as unfavorable. In accordance with the stipulations of article 17 of the Ley Federal de Proceso Administrativo.

The obtention of such broadcasted signals from the corresponding media and their retransmission will be at the restricted television concessionaire’s own cost.

In case of requiring the corresponding receipt acknowledgment, a copy of the notice document shall be delivered.
