Concessionaires and authorized parties that render telecommunications services. 


When or in what cases?

When, due to the nature or features of the building, as well as the assumption of a disproportionate or inadequate load, impossibility to implement the following Accessibility elements is fully justified:

1. An Accessible Route;

2. An accessible service area, with an approximation size and use that allows attention to Impaired People;

3. Accessible signals;

4. Allow access to Impaired Users accompanied by service animals, and

5. A waiting area with priority seats for Impaired people and a reserved space for people in wheelchairs, in case of having them.

The Service Centers of Concessionaires and Authorized Parties shall have all of the Accessibility elements referred in article 18 of the Lineamientos Generales de Accesibilidad a Servicios de Telecomunicaciones para los Usuarios con Discapacidad within a term of 3 years from the effective date of said Guidelines, provided that the building’s nature and features allow their implementation.

 

In this sense, justifications shall be filed after the term of 3 years indicated in the preceding paragraph has been reached.
