Sixth Provision, fraction I, of the Acuerdo mediante el cual el Pleno del Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones expide la metodología de separación contable aplicable a los agentes económicos preponderantes, agentes declarados con poder sustancial de mercado y redes compartidas mayoristas, published in the Diario Oficial de la Federación on December 29, 2017, and its issued modifications through agreements P/IFT/171018/624 and P/IFT/051218/884, published in the Diario Oficial de la Federación on October 29 and December 19, 2018, respectively.

Who?

Economic Agents deemed as preponderant economic agents in the telecommunications and broadcasting sectors and agents holding substantial market power.


When or in what cases?

On January 31 of the year when the accounting separation information is delivered, at the latest, when the concessionaire and/or authorized party deems that the valuation of the assets recorded in its books may properly represent such values at current costs according to the principles established by the Federal Telecommunications Institute and, therefore, this alternative shall be extended to a higher percentage of its assets.

The information shall be submitted before the Filing Office of the Federal Telecommunications Institute, in an electronic and editable format, in a compact disc and/or storage device.

3.3 Gross Value;

3.4 Net Value;

3.5 Accumulated depreciation;

3.6 Annual depreciation;

3.7 Life cycle, from purchase date (not remaining)

3.8 Units, and

3.9 Unit cost.

The concessionaires and/or authorized parties that upon the effective date of the Resolution by which the Governing Board of the Federal Telecommunications Institute  issues the methodology for accounting separation applicable to preponderant economic agents holding substantial market power and wholesale shared networks submit their application for extension of the net value of their assets to a higher percentage for accounting separation purposes (established in number I of Ruling Sixth) , it shall be accompanied by the implementation program within 40 business days following such effective date, term that may be extended up to 20 business days one single time.
